Built for the people who choose independence
SaasLancer is a small, remote team building the toolkit that freelancers, solopreneurs, consultants and small agencies actually want — not enterprise software retrofitted for independents, and not spreadsheets held together with hope. Just 15+ focused SaasLancer tools, made by indies, for indies.
SaasLancer exists because every independent professional deserves tools as good as the ones big companies build for themselves.
That simple belief is why SaasLancer exists. For years, the best software was built for teams of 50+ with budgets to match. Independents got scraps — stripped-down “solo” plans of enterprise tools, or clunky freeware that looked like it was designed in 2009. We think that’s backwards. Independents move faster, ship more, and care harder than anyone. The tools should match.
How SaasLancer started
From one frustrated freelancer with a Google Sheet to a toolkit used in 40+ countries. Here’s the short version.
One freelancer, one frustration
Our founder was freelancing full-time, juggling five paid tools, two spreadsheets and a Notion doc — just to send invoices and track billable hours. The question was simple: why is this so hard? Enterprise SaaS was bloated. Spreadsheets were error-prone. Something in the middle was missing.
Invoice Generator launches
A single-page tool that turned a 20-minute invoice process into 60 seconds. No signup, no account, no upsell. It was shared on Twitter, picked up by Indie Hackers, and hit 1,000 users in the first month. The shape of SaasLancer was clear: small, sharp, indie-first tools — one problem at a time.
Five tools, 1,000 professionals
Rate Calculator, Pomodoro Tracker, Proposal Builder and Contract Maker joined the lineup. The team grew from one to four. We started charging for a premium tier — optional, fair, monthly-or-yearly — so we could keep the core tools free forever for people who need them.
Crossing 10,000 users & 40 countries
AI writing tools launched. The Income Dashboard replaced three spreadsheets. We hired support in three time zones so replies stayed fast. Ten thousand professionals — from Karachi to Cape Town to Copenhagen — were running part of their business on SaasLancer.
15+ tools, one focused team
We’ve stayed deliberately small — a tight remote team that ships more in a week than most agencies do in a quarter. The mission hasn’t changed. The toolkit just keeps getting sharper.
Six principles behind every SaasLancer tool
Not a mission statement. Not a corporate poster on a wall. The actual rules we use to decide what to build, what to kill, and how to behave.
Indie-first, always
Every tool is designed for one person working alone — not a 50-seat plan squeezed down. If it doesn’t help a solo, we don’t ship it.
No signup walls
Most tools work without an account. You land on the page, you use the tool. Sign up only when you want to save data — and even then, the bar is low.
Real humans reply
No chatbots, no ticketing black holes. Every support message is answered by a person within 24 hours. Usually within six.
Your data stays yours
We don’t sell it, rent it, or train AI on it. Export anything, anytime. Delete your account with one click and the data goes with it.
Fast by default
Our core tools load in under a second. No heavy frameworks, no loading spinners for basic actions. Your attention is worth protecting.
Fair, transparent pricing
Free forever for the core tools. Optional paid tier with a flat price — no per-seat games, no “contact sales,” no trials that auto-bill.
Four years in, what we’ve shipped
A snapshot of the work, the reach, and the community we’ve built alongside independent professionals worldwide.
One toolkit. Every kind of independent.
The common thread isn’t a job title — it’s the decision to run your own show. If that’s you, the toolkit is for you.
Freelancers
Designers, developers, writers and creatives who juggle multiple clients and need their admin on autopilot.
Solopreneurs
One-person businesses running on determination and caffeine — and tools that don’t get in the way.
Consultants
Marketing, finance, HR and strategy specialists billing multiple clients across complex engagements.
Small agencies
Teams of 2 to 10 who want enterprise-grade output without enterprise-grade overhead.
Made for independents — not repurposed for them
Three common ways people try to run an independent business. Here’s what you actually get with each.

Meet the SaasLancer team — small, remote, obsessed with one thing
Seven people across five time zones. No offices, no suits, no stand-ups longer than fifteen minutes. Every one of us has freelanced, bootstrapped, or built something solo — so we build tools the way we’d want them built for us.
We’re deliberately small on purpose. A tight team ships fast, argues in public, and doesn’t need a committee to fix a bug. When you email us, you’re emailing someone who writes the code, designs the UI, or answers the support queue — often all three.
Ready to see what SaasLancer has built?
Open any tool and start working in seconds — or drop us a line if you’d rather talk first. We reply within 24 hours, no chatbots.
